Indisputably, the best parts of fall are cozy fall clothes and everyone’s favorite fall drink: The beloved pumpkin spice latte
So it was only a matter of time before someone thought to combine the two.
Enter the pumpkin spice sneaker, an IRL running shoe slated to be released on October 21 at noon EST on Saucony.com for a reported $120.
Essentially a fall AF version of a timeless Saucony classic, the “Pumpkin Spice” Grid SD is a running shoe make of rich, burnt orange leather with a creamy suede toe and smokey brown sole.
The designers even went so far to give the shoelaces a “cinnamon accent” according to a Saucony blog post announcing the new style.
But it’s a super subtle design element that really musters all the fall feels: The cleverly-placed latte right there on the sneaker’s tongue. (The teeny-tiny latte art is just too cute!)
That said, this new pumpkin spice product’s biggest shortcoming is a biggie: It’s not edible or even scented, as far as we know. More reason to wear these shoes while sipping on a real pumpkin spice latte.
